A new collaboration with UNICEF on Civic Engagement in Sierra Leone

A new collaboration with UNICEF on Civic Engagement in Sierra Leone

I’m excited to share that I’ll be supporting UNICEF Sierra Leone over the coming year to identify the best ways the agency can support civic engagement and social accountability in Sierra Leone. UNICEF Sierra Leone holds a special place in our family: my father in law, Paul Sengeh, worked there for many years to guide monitoring and evaluation efforts. When I first travelled to Sierra Leone with my husband, he made sure to stop by the UNICEF canteen, one of his favorite childhood snack spots. It’s been nice to be welcomed by so many people who’ve dedicated their careers to the children and families of Sierra Leone. I look forward to our collaborations ahead.
